I don’t want it to get around, but in a fit of generosity, I bought the wife an unlocked Sony Ericsson Satio phone as a surprise for her.
I love it, not as good as my HTC Desire but it’s a damn sight better than the brick of a phone she has at the moment.
So I MMS’d her a photo of it to surprise her. What do you think she said in reply? Well I’ll give you three choices.
a) “Aww that’s so sweet of you. Thank you so much XXX”
b) “I don’t need it, I’m happy with my phone. Thank you for the gesture XXX”
c) “What have you done? What do you want?”
If you answered A or B, you’re so wrong.
Yes my darling little wife, showing slightly more suspicion than I’m happy with, thinks I have an ulterior motive for this gift. Well thanks dear, I love you to you know.
P.S. Actually, I think she’s still pissed at me for returning home pissed as a fart on my brother’s birthday night out with my comatosed brother haha Ah the delights of marriage.
