I’ve been feeling very sad & depressed recently.
I wasn’t sure where my relationship with my wife was going.
Thoughts of desperation and helplessness were consuming my every waking hour as she continued with her silence.
We’ve not a word spoken to me in over a month.
Finally, she looked me in the eyes this morning and smiled. My heartbeat increased with hope and she uttered those three little words I’d been waiting for.
“I’m leaving you”
Fuck me, I was pleased as punch and now feel brilliant about life again
